Archetype

the journal of the Science Group of the

Anthroposophical Society in Great Britain

ISSN 1462-8775

Archetype, formerly titled Newsletter Articles Supplement and first issued in 1995, is for longer articles on science, epistemology, mathematics and the history and philosophy of science. Its peer-reviewed content, in English, comprises research and other relevant articles, short communications and any correspondence these generate. Editor: Dr David J. Heaf.

PLEASE NOTE: This journal ceased publication after issue 15, November 2009. All back issues are still available for mail order in printed form, however, they are also available for free download as PDFs using the links below.

Font issues

The conversion of the files from the three publishing formats used over the years is work in progress as it has created a few problems with fonts. These are in the process of being ironed out. The editor would be grateful for reports of any faults in screen display or printing.

For issues of Archetype containing mathematical symbols and/or Greek characters, it will be necessary to have the font GreekMathSymbols (filename: symbols.ttf) installed on your PC. For the journal name Archetype to display correctly on the covers, it will be necessary to have the font ZurichCalligraphic Italic (filename: zurichi.ttf) installed on your PC.

File sizes and local printing

The files have been optimised for printing, resulting in some large file sizes (134 kb to 159 Mb). The covers hitherto printed on 300 gsm. card are as separate PDFs. The body is paginated for duplex printing as an A5 booklet.
